The theme of this season’s collection is “TOI ET MOI — You and Me”,
inspired by one of the most beautiful journeys in designer NIKI Qin Xu’s life.

Through the language of fashion, she writes of love — a phoenix arriving in grace.

To you, a woman of independent spirit and strength,

You are white — pure, noble and serene;
You are yellow — embracing all, calm and steadfast;
You are blue — boundless as the sky beyond the sky, distant and tranquil;
You are pink — ever present like a shadow, gentle and serene;
You are red — reborn through fire, passionate and resolute;
You are also the vibrant multitude of colours that fills my life.

You are a ray of sunlight that enters my soul,
a gentle breeze that brushes against my skin,
a clear stream flowing through my veins.

I love all your joys and sorrows, your anger and happiness,
yet through every stitch and thread, I find a sense of peace.

There is neither coming nor going; we simply choose the present moment and begin again.

It is along the path of running with elegance that we discover beauty.

This season’s collection combines traditional Chinese handicrafts, including Qiang embroidery, Hami Uyghur embroidery, Tu coiled embroidery and Guizhou knot embroidery. These intangible cultural heritage techniques are incorporated into haute couture through MOODBOX’s distinctive Chinese-inspired Western tailoring, giving each piece a unique soul.

Since 2013, MOODBOX has spent seven years preserving traditional Chinese craftsmanship through innovation, bringing the natural simplicity of art rooted in everyday life into the international language of haute couture, and transforming the brand’s spirit of craftsmanship into a flowing art of fashion and life.

Designer Qin Xu is not only the founder of MOODBOX, but also the initiator of “Artisans at Their Fingertips,” a public-interest project dedicated to preserving Chinese embroidery traditions. Through projects such as The Chinese Artisans at Their Fingertips, she documents and explores the stories of intangible cultural heritage practitioners. Through cross-disciplinary design, she seeks to make culture visible, preserve traditional skills, connect design with life and heritage, and pay tribute to the artisans behind the scenes.
