Inspired by the Hungarian Rubik’s Cube of the 1970s, an ingenious and playful invention that became a global sensation and was hailed as one of the “three great wonders” of the gaming world.

MOODBOX designer Niki draws inspiration from the Rubik’s Cube, capturing its kaleidoscope of vibrant colours. Every twist and transformation echoes the ever-changing nature of “Our Life”: whether we turn left or right, every path can lead us to happiness. This season, MOODBOX embraces rich, saturated shades of red, green, blue, black and white, inspired by the colours of the triangular Rubik’s Cube, creating a joyful and uplifting sense of happiness.

Niki deconstructs and reassembles the elements of the Rubik’s Cube, transforming them into original patterns that shift and rotate from multiple perspectives. Printed onto lustrous silk satin, polyester and ethereal organza, the dazzling colours of “Our Life” come vividly to life across the garments.

The collection continues MOODBOX’s refined signature of Chinese sensibility meeting Western tailoring, while boldly bringing haute couture into dialogue with streetwear. The precision and delicacy of couture are infused with the avant-garde spirit of the street, while the effortless attitude of street fashion reveals the quiet mastery and craftsmanship of haute couture.

Presented at the official Paris Fashion Week “China in Paris” showroom, the collection was unanimously praised by the French professional buyer teams as a “fusion of haute couture and streetwear.”
